6 Days Wildlife Tours Ethiopia

The variety of species and their uniqueness in Africa is one of the Great Attractions of Ethiopia’s wildlife heritage. with about 320 species of mammals including 36 endemics, Ethiopia has one of the most diverse mammalians faunas in Africa . Celebrating this diversity in a national park wildlife brand “Ethiopia -home of the unique seven “which refers to seven Distinctive and Endemics large mammals found only in Ethiopia: Ethiopian Wolf, Mountain Nyala, Walia Ibex, Menelik’s bushbuck, Swayne’s hartebeest, Gelada Baboon, and Bale Monkey. Home of Eleven world heritage sites is included in the list of UNESCO. Ethiopian Rift valley reflects its topography. The highlands have a very different climate than the lowlands. Rainfall in the lowlands is around half that of the highlands, but some areas experienced small rains in March and April. In the Bale Mountains in the south East, snow sometimes falls on 4000 meters

Day 1

Upon your arrival, depending on your arrival time we will explore the capital city of Ethiopia including the National Museum, Cathedral churches which are built by our last king Of Ethiopia.

Overnight: Addis Abeba

Day 2

Drive from Addis Abeba to southeastern of the country to our destination Bale Mountains National Park which is about 400km away and by afternoon we will be at the HQ of National Park where we gonna settle for camping in juniper open woodland habitat and surrounded by an endemic Mountain Nyala and Menelik’s Bushbuck plus another bonus of wildlife.

Day 3

Drive to web Valley looking for an endangered species of canine that is only found in Ethiopia and bale mountains national park is home to 80 percent of the population of the Ethiopian wolf plus more to see

Day 4

Early morning game drive to have an amazing experience with Ethiopian wolf in Den before they start patrolling

After Breakfast drive to Gaysay grassland where you can see a big herd of mountain Nyala, serval cat, Bohor reedbuck, and more.

Day 5

Early morning game drive before we depart from web valley to Sanate Plateau and Harenna forest looking for beautiful Afro-alpine meadows and the alpine lake it’s an amazing place to see Ethiopian wolf again then drive to Harena forest one of the second largest and tropical rain forest in Ethiopia beside the forest while we were expecting to see the Bale Monkey another endemic species of mammals.

Day 6

Drive via to the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia Addis Abeba on our day depending on the time we will look to the Lake of Ziway.

Then fly back home after dinner in Addis Abeba
